New Gameplay For Haven Studios ‘FairGames’ Revealed as New Playtests Are

A new gameplay trailer for Haven Studios’ upcoming game ‘Fairgames’ has been posted online as new playtests are underway.

The playtests recently went live on Geoff Keighley-partnered player.gg, which recently announced that it had been given “exclusive access to a closed playtest of an unannounced competitive action shooter codenamed Project Espresso being developed by a AAA Studio.”

As previously exclusively reported by Insider Gaming, Fairgames’ project name is Project Espresso, and it is the upcoming shooter by Haven Studios.

As pointed out earlier this year, Haven Studios has been struggling to ‘find the fun’ in its upcoming title, and seemingly, continues to do so as a slew of comments online have already begun to criticize the game for its lack of innovation. At the time of the report earlier this year, PlayStation had also filed for the trademark ‘Break In’, which is believed to be the new title name of the upcoming game.

Footage previously sent to Insider Gaming shows that the game is essentially an extraction-based shooter, where players load into a map, look, and exfil.

The game modes description reads:

Break In – Find a vault code to gain access to the safe. Collect cash, upgrade your skill set, and make your play.

Drill – The vault is breached. Be the team to grab the cargo, or set up your strategy to intercept it.

Extract – The Cargo must be brought to the Extraction Site. Use the Extraction device to call your ride home. If your team fails to extract cargo, use another exit to Getaway.
